Felted Purses

A couple of felted crochet bags at that I made. I finished this red one yesterday.

I still haven't finished this clutch with the feather pin, just stitching it together and some embroidery to go.

Black sweater and the annoying necklace

I was leaving for work and decided to wear this today. The necklace is long, so I looped the multiple strands around my neck and by the time I got home is was broken in two places. The last time I wore it long and unlooped and it broke in several places too. I think that I'll just take it apart altogether and make it into something else. I didn't entirely like the way it looked anyway.

These shoes were made for walking- although I haven't used them for that quite yet

I bought both pairs of the these shoes from target, the floral print for $3 and the mocassin-type shoes for around $10 if I remember right. I haven't worn the mocassins out yet, I'm not sure what to wear with them. Good deals though.

I make things!

A little zippy with wonky stitching and a couple of crochet afghans that I'm working on. I didn't make the button on the zippy, I bought it at Pine Ridge Hollow along with a few other cute ones. I would love to make buttons/badges, but first I have to find a machine.

Morning!

First thing in the morning after the escapade with all the make-up. I tried to wash it off the night before, but I missed some of the eyeliner under my eyes.

Today!

This is me today! I straightened my hair and that's my natural colour, it looks darker in the pictures than it does in the mirrors. I had someone put some make-up on in an attempt to look my age, including some extra eyelashes which are coming off! Just a old white blouse work blouse and grey vest, nothing especially cute as far as clothes go. That's my "fish" birthmark, it looks like a fish to me...a child's drawing of a fish, which works because I was a child when I decided it was a fish.

Picture day at school, I picked dresses for each one. I think I'm four in this one. That necklace is a big V with icki going down the side, a Vicky necklace. It's too bad that I didn't know how to manage my little curls because they sure got tangled and icky!

The animal in the corner of the bottom picture was a little dog called Benji who was born on the same day I was. I've always had some sort of pet.

Dad

This is typical Dad hug. He hugged me tight, so I responded by hugging whatever I could get my arms around as tightly as I could.

Mother

I like the expression on my face in the second picture. There are a lot of happy pictures of my Mother and I, but I think these pictures of her attempting to soothe me are interesting. When someone is upset she consoles that person by patting him or her on the back.
