I went out to a birthday party for a friend and thought a skirt that I found at Joe Fresh would make a wonderful strapless dress. It was a success! Nothing fell down.

I love this too!
Note the caption at the bottom of the book -“With provocative notes from the patient husband who pays the bills”

An interesting book cover from Aquabooks and some geeky Victorians from chicklit.

Purity, Innocence, Sympathy, Spirituality
"White roses can mean many things to many different people. They can symbolize new beginnings, or be a sign of farewell. They can convey feelings of love, friendship, respect and hope. Underlying all of these messages is the impression of innocence and purity with which white roses are now synonymous. An arrangement of white roses is not only beautiful; it can carry a complexity that belies its simpler appearance. Whatever the reason white roses are given, it can be assured that they will be deeply appreciated by their recipient." ~via FlorapediaWednesday, February 4, 2009
Closing time
First up Esther's mug. She has a bit more painting to go before it's glazed and fired. She kept asking everyone what colors to use where and relied a bit too much on the man who didn't care about colour variation for support.

Next up the logo that I now recognize! If I was on jeopardy I would have past the time limit and lost a bundle though.
The finished flaming basketball and a flash of some gleaming and perfectly perfect teeth.

The inside of the basketball mug that he was going to leave white, but his girlfriend teasingly objected. When I agreed with her and encouraged the table to stage a pottery painting intervention he came up with the very cool idea of a basketball net.
My almost finished work of art. I know you're practically green with envy so I'll agree to share, but I get to use it first!
